WHITNEY KENNER JONES
Managing Member
Attorney Kenner-Jones is the managing member of Kenner Jones Law, LLC. She is dedicated and committed to helping families resolve their legal contentions. Her aspirations are to help families resolve their affairs while maintaining intact and navigable relationships. She feels that separations, divorces, & legal battles do not have to destroy family units. Attorney Kenner-Jones is certified in collaborative divorce, and always seeks cost effective solutions in assisting her clients with restructuring their family.
As an additional aspect of Attorney Kenner-Jones' family law practice, she serves as a Juvenile Dependency Attorney. She is passionate and committed to assisting clients through all circumstances that lead them to Juvenile Court. She believes in the Juvenile Justice System’s commitment to ensure appropriate care, treatment, and rehabilitation for youth involved in the court system. She is equipped with an understanding of the law, court procedures, and innovative possibilities to assist her clients on a path to success and rehabilitation.
She strives to provide her clients with zealous representation, and seeks to help her clients reach a resolution they can be excited about. Attorney Kenner-Jones has always been committed to public service and giving back to the community. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Public Health/Community Health Education, and subsequently obtained a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Strayer University in Raleigh, NC. Ultimately obtaining her law degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law located in Macon, GA.
She provides a wide range of family law services, juvenile dependency, as well as independent and neutral discrimination and harassment investigations for organizations such as, corporations, colleges and universities. She showcases a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and assists organizations in creating a work force that is committed to those same values. She helps foster a working team that functions as a well-oiled unit, where they completely benefit from diverse perspectives, background and talent, and; at the same time, assisting in removing barriers to access, and eliminating discrimination and harassment in the workplace.
Prior to founding Kenner Jones Law, LLC, Attorney Kenner-Jones performed work place harassment and discrimination investigations for Portland State University. She co-owned and managed the law firm Kenner Jones, Barnett & Armstrong, LLC which maintained offices in Georgia, Illinois, and Oregon. She previously served as a Legal Extern for the Honorable Judge Yvette Miller. She gained experience as a summer associate with the City of Atlanta's Attorney’s Office and as a summer associate at a Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Law Firm. Prior to attending law school, Attorney Kenner-Jones co-owned a small business.
Attorney Kenner-Jones is licensed in Georgia and Oregon.
